Game of Thrones Season 6 Spoilers: Major Jaime Lannister Storyline From The Books

The sixth season of "Game of Thrones" reportedly will feature Jaime's journey to the Riverlands based on what happened in the fourth book "A Feast of Crows."

According to TV Guide, fans will be able to witness on small screen the siege of Riverrun, but unlike in the book, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will be accompanied by Ser Bronn (Jerome Flynn). Bronn was also with Jaime when he traveled to Dorne in the previous season to get his daughter with Cersei, Princess Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free).

Citing Los Siete Reinos, Watchers On The Wall reported that it has been confirmed that Clive Russell is returning to reprise his role as Lady Catelyn Stark's uncle, Brynden Tully, a.k.a. the Blackfish. He's been missing since Season 3. Assault scenes with the Blackfish are reportedly being filmed in Corbert, Northern Island. Wooden structures as siege engines and tents were set outside the Riverrun. There will also be a scene with Blackfish and Jaime arguing.

The siege of Riverrun also opens the opportunity for the return of Catelyn's younger brother Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies). He was captured during the Red Wedding in Season 3.

TV Guide further said fans can hope to finally meet Lady Stoneheart, the zombified version of Lady Stark. In the book, Lady Stoneheart leads the Brotherhood Without Banners after she was resurrected from the dead. She's up for revenge and hang those who have wronged her, particularly Freys and Lannisters.

Watchers On The Wall also reported earlier that Arya Stark will be returning to the Riverlands as well (all the way from Braavos?) Another Stark returning is Brandon Stark, who was absent the whole of Season 5. Isaac Hempstead Wright has confirmed his return to reprise the role. He told Irish Examiner, "I can't say a lot but I am back this season, and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions."
