Divorce rumors seem to be following Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. The two have been close to a lot of speculations regarding their marriage and according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, another sign that might put them on the spot again this time is the news about the couple not adopting a child.
The big question still remains on why the couple are not yet adopting. Could it be Ellen is just too selfish that she wants it her way? Or simply, Ellen does not want a child?
A source that happened to be close to the couple reportedly told Star that "it's been a difficult year for them behind closed doors." There were rumors reported that Ellen and Portia have been fighting too much lately which prompted for Portia to indulge in alcohol. An insider said that "Portia checked into Passages Malibu in May 2014 and completed a 30-day drug and alcohol treatment program."
You just can't blame Portia for her breakdown considering that her career was put on hold while Ellen's continues to be up on the game. And now Portia's career is starting to shine again as her character role in the series "Scandal" is already a regular of the show. But according to reports, this got Ellen pissed because she just wants Portia home and do a little acting jobs.
However, last month ET Online reported that Ellen strongly denied all allegations of the divorce rumors circulating their marriage. During DeGeneres' interview with Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show, she shared that she is always the last to know about the news circulating around her. Ellen said, "We don't know anything about it until somebody tells us" and that "I don't read the tabloids, and I don't have a publicist."
Ellen told the host that she can't understand why they are doing this but they are indeed flattered about it.
Being together for seven years as a married couple may have put a lot of rumors in their marriage but according to Huffington Post, Ellen got this to say, "We really don't almost break up, we don't fight, we're madly in love, and I guess it's boring."
Ellen continued and said, "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I'm very happily married. In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. It really is true."
