Google Nexus 5 vs Galaxy S6 Active: Nexus 5X Gets Better Make, Specs

Google Nexus 5X will surely make the company a winner, once more despite some serious competition when Samsung released earlier their Galaxy S6, which has features that totally compete against the Nexus 5X.

Design:

Galaxy S6 active - the body is made up from plastic and rubber with catalogue white and blue or plain gray coating. Heavier plastics are placed on the sides for waterproof and dust resistance with an IP68 rating. It also has a MIL-STD-810 certification which makes it thermal shock, rain, dust, and solar radiation resistant, Ecumenical News reported.

Google Nexus 5X - full polycarbonate body. It may be cheap but fits nice in the hands. Available in the colors: ice, carbon, and quartz.

Google Nexus 5X's advantage from the S6 active is the fingerprint scanner.

Display:

Galaxy S6 Active - built with a 5.1 inches super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a 576 pixels per inch density.

Google Nexus 5X - has a 5.2 inches screen with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a 424 pixels per inch density.

Specs:

Galaxy S6 Active - the hardware is built with the latest Exynos 7420 chipset and an octa-core CPU made up of four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5 GHz and Cortex-A57 cores at 2.1 GHz along with the Mali-T760 GPU.

Google Nexus 5X - built with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with the hexa-core CPU made up of four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.44 GHz and two Cortex-A57 cores at 1.82 GHz with the Adreno 418 GPU.

Memory:

Galaxy S6 Active - there is no available external memory storage but has a 3 GB RAM.

Google Nexus 5X - same goes, it does not have a built external memory storage but has 2GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is made available at a price of $199 with a two year contract. Google Nexus 5X, on the other hand is locked at $380.
