‘Salad Spinner House’: The Glass Mansion that Celebrities, even Bieber, Would Lease for

The Salad Spinner House, which is made of steel and glass, has been magnetizing celebrities into spending bucks for a stay. Justin Bieber, NBA's Markieff and Marcus Morris twins and Meek Mill have all rented the place.

Bieber reportedly rented the Salad Spinner House for a short-term stay for $59,000. The Morris twins rented it for 6 days for the price of $5,500 - $6,000 per night. Meek Mill threw a Grammy after-party with 1,000 guests that resulted to the place being trashed and the rapper being sued for breach of contract, which dragged down his guests Justin Bieber, Nikki Minaj, Chris Brown and Khloe Kardashian into the same suit.

The bowl-shaped mansion, designed by Ed Niles, was built for the request of Raffi Cohen. But, it was sold at $9 million even before completion. Then it was put on market again for $15 million. However, it was recently sold for only $10.5 million in March.

The current owners have been renting it out for $59,000 to celebrities since then.

What is so special about the glass and steel home that everyone calls the salad spinner house?

The house, which has 6,500-square-foot living space, boasts six bedrooms and a glass-enclosed courtyard with seven garages. It also has a fine living and dining rooms, a second-story family room, an elevator, a master suite with majestic city, ocean and greenbelt views, an aluminum coated stair case infinity pool and magnificent views of the area among others.

The house looks more industrial and institutional than residential due to the mixture of steel, marble and glass exteriors. Portuguese blue marble walkways compliment the green lawn.

The futuristic and unique approach of the design of the house and the expensive rental fee would surely entice celebrities to splurge their hard-earned dollars for a temporary stay. Celebrities surely love transparency, don't they?

Do you think the glass and steel Salad Spinner House is worth every dime of the rental fee? Would you want a one-night staycation in the mansion?
