1. Cardboard Food Boxes
A practical tip to save up space and ensure the freshness of your groceries. Instead of letting the cereals or the snacks stay in their cardboard boxes, try putting them in sealed jar containers. This will save you space and also will look good in your pantry cabinet.
2. Wire Hangers
Wire hangers may stain on your white clothes or any fabric as it may accumulate rust in the long run. Try changing the wire hangers in "plastic and wooden ones" for the greater look and use.
3. Your Dish Sponge
The old sponges that lies in your dishwashing sink may accumulate more germs than what you think it could do to clean the dishes. HGTV advised to replace the sponges if used for more than a month and "sanitize" it when used in less than a month.
4. Old Shoes
Clearly, this is one of the things we can't get rid off easily and stacks up in time but if the shoes clearly has been of no use, put it in good use by "donating it in any local thrift stores."
5. Clothing You've Never Worn
Another thing we can't get rid off easily on our dressers is our old clothes that we felt can still be used in the future. The great idea to do with the clothes is to either donate them or sell these items. You may never know how much these beloved oldies cost.
6. Old Spices
Many might have not known but our favorite spices must be replaced every 12 months and if those spices are still in your pantry past that date. You must throw them out now, for some loses its flavor and even scent if they passed this date.
7. Last Year's Holiday Cards
No questions needed, throw out those old christmas cards. They will just accumulate dirt and pile in your home.
8. Last Year's Calendar
Clearly, this may be of no use in our house anymore except if you want to recycle the calendars for another use. But to stay away of the cutter. Throw them out too.
9. Old Toothbrush
Those old toothbrush of yours that you don't use, throw them out to save more space in you vanity area in your bathroom.
10. Expired Makeup
Make-ups aren't made to last forever so if you're still keeping a foundation from three years now, better check on your vanity kit now and ditch out those face essentials that need to go. HGTV advises that "Mascara should be replaced every three months. Foundation and concealer are good for about a year, while lipstick, eye shadow and blush should be replaced every two years."
