Being two of the most awaited phones to arrive later this year, the "HTC One A9" and the "Samsung Galaxy A9" are yet to have a complete set of specification details. But so far, here are what we know about the two upcoming smartphones
"HTC One A9" and "Samsung Galaxy A9" Display
It was said that the "HTC One A9" will have an AMOLED capacitive screen with 16M colors while the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will use Super AMOLED capacitive screen with 16M colors. The "Samsung Galaxy A9" will be bigger than the "HTC One A9" with its 5.5 inch display. The "HTC One A9" will only have a 5.0 inch display. Both phones will have a 1080 x 1920 resolution but the "HTC One A9" will have a higher PPI density of 441. "Samsung Galaxy A9" is said to have a 401 PPI density.
"HTC One A9" and "Samsung Galaxy A9" Platform, Memory
The "HTC One A9" is said to be carrying the latest Android version which is the Marshmallow, while the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will use the previous version of Lollipop v5.1.1 but with a planned upgrade to Marshmallow. As for the chipset, the "HTC One A9" will use Snapdragon 617 while the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will use Snapdragon 620. The "HTC One A9" will use an Octa core 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 CPU while the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will use a Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU.
The "HTC One A9" and the "Samsung Galaxy A9" share the same memory specs of 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB RAM ad external memory capacity of 128 GB.
"HTC One A9" and "Samsung Galaxy A9" Cameras
If the rumored specs are true, the "Samsung Galaxy A9" has better camera features. It has a 16 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. The "HTC One A9" isn't so bad as well with its 13 MP rear camera and 4 MP front cam.

Both phones are WiFi hotspot capable with LTE network support. The "Samsung Galaxy A9" comes with an FM radio while the "HTC One A9" is not yet confirmed if it will have the radio feature. The "HTC One A9" comes in six colors (Opal Silver, Acid Gold, Deep Garnet, Rose Gold, Carbon Gray, and Cast Iron). the "Samsung Galaxy A9" on the other hand comes in just 3 (Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Pearl Gold).
"HTC One A9" and "Samsung Galaxy A9" Verdict
It was rumored that the "HTC One A9" will cost at around 600 Euro. The "Samsung Galaxy A9" on the other hand is yet to have a price, but we can just assume that these two phones won't differ so much when it comes to the cost. But as a conclusion, so far it could be any of the two. For the display and color options, the "HTC One A9" wins. But for the cameras, the "Samsung Galaxy A9" is better.
