iOS 9 Update: How To Jailbreak iPhone or iPad iOS 9

PanGu last week released the first iOS 9.0 to 9.0.2. There are things to consider first before jailbreaking an iPhone or iPad and some argue that you should not jailbreak your Apple device. Whether it's legitimate or not to jailbreak would probably be a never-ending debate. Still, many iPhone users want to jailbreak their devices to remove the hardware restrictions Apple set and make them more customizable.

If you are decided, here are the steps on how to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad iOS 9:

1. Create a back-up of your personal data and settings to ensure you do not lose them during the process. There are two ways to back up. First is via transferring them to your computer. Plug in your device to a computer, open iTunes, and click Back Up Now on the device page. The second option is via iCloud. Go to Settings, iCloud, and tap the toggle button to turn on Backup. Ensure that you have enough space for all your data. Apple provides 5GB of free storage only.

2. Install iOS 9.0.2. Download the iOS 9.0.2 through your computer. Forbes said using Wi-Fi can cause problems. Click Set Up As New iPhone.

3. Download the latest version of jailbreak tool. Currently, it's at version 1.0.1.

4. Connect your device to the Internet and then switch off Find My iPhone. Then, set your device in airplane mode.

5. Run the PanGu program tool and follow instructions. When your device restarted, turn on the airplane mode again and click the PanGu program tool once again.

6. Check if Cydia is on your device, which means all is well.

7. Restore your backup data to have your settings and apps back.
