Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and wife Jools were seen heading towards their new £10million Grade II-listed home in Hampstead.
The North London home of the couple worth £7million was burgled earlier this month which moved them to look for another property. The two looked downcast while checking the new estate while wearing low-key outfits.
Their visit to their new home was defined by Mail Online as "though it was part of the preparation for the big move - as they were seen taking a delivery from Majestic Wine Warehouse." The 40-year-old star and his wife will move into the luxurious residence with their kids, 13-year-old Poppy, 12-year-old Daisy, 6-year-old Petal, and 4-year-old Buddy.
The recent incident about their home being ransacked has hit headlines. Thieves gained access to their five-bedroom house in Primrose Hill through the garage, and took away thousands of pounds worth of jewelry and properties, Huffington Post reported.
The 15-years married couple and their kids were not in their home when the incident occurred. They were spending time on their country home in Essex while doing arrangements for their move to the new eight-bed Grade II-listed home in Hampstead.
Jamie became famous through the television series "The Naked Chef" in 1999 and was regularly seen on Britain’s screens ever since. He operates a restaurant chain and has already sold more than 37million cookery books. Meanwhile, his wife runs a children’s clothing line dubbed the "Little Bird."
He recently launched a series on Channel 4 entitled, "Jamie’s Super Food" wherein he travels around the globe to study various food and learn about different eating habits. "Jamie's Sugar Rush" follows the show where he looks into the harmful effects of eating too much sweets.
Jamie is campaigning for healthy eating habits and would visit schools to promote healthy school meals.
