Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin has bought a new home in Northern Virginia for $2.5 million. According to Loudoun County property records, the residence is located in the luxury Creighton Farms golf course community in Aldie, and is just 30 miles from the Washington D.C. area.
Griffin's newly acquired 9,000-square-foot home reportedly has five bedrooms, four baths, two half baths, a wet bar, an elevator and a mudroom.

This new buy comes at a time when Griffin is busy working on his wedding plans with bride-to-be Rebecca Liddicoat and buying this spacious house fits right into the plan. The wedding is to take place this July. Earlier last month, the 23-year-old athlete took to his Twitter account May 19 to thank his fans for allowing him to complete his wedding registry and tweeted a picture of a substantial amount of wedding gifts.
"Thank you to the Fans who are helping buy ALL the items from our wedding registry at Bed Bath & Beyond ...," he tweeted.
