Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will stop at nothing just to hurt their mother, and in the new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, he will be killing off another of his mother's people.
Christian Today reports that in the new episode, after killing Malcolm (Justice Leak), Damon is set out to kill another Heretic named Oscar (Tim Kang). In the promotional video, Damon shows his mother Lily (Annie Wersching) what he can do; however this causes the Salvatore matriarch to be more enraged. In the video, Lily tells Damon, "You will not lay hand on another member of my family."
It was reported that Damon was angry at Lily after it was revealed that Lily has hidden Elena's (Nina Dovreb) body, and Damon is now determined to get Elena's body back. However, this could cause more outrage from the members of the cult, and since Caroline (Candice King) is in the hands of the heretics, Stefan (Paul Wesley) wants to prevent it from happening.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Caroline and Stefan will learn more things about the past. Caroline will discover a secret about Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) while Stefan will know more about himself from his mother.
In other news, Design & Trend reports that executive producer Julie Plec revealed in an interview that there will be a lot of new characters in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. Plec also revealed how the team does the hiring for the show. Plec said that they look for people for very specific roles and they always have high hopes for each character.
Plec said that she is very happy with the cast that they got for the heretics in the show and she described the hiring process for the characters as "hitting the jackpot."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 episode 3, titled "Age of Innocence," will air on Oct. 22.
