Minecraft and Halo 5 fans, Microsoft is giving Minecraft something new based on this other big title for that is launching this October.
As part of its continuous effort to expand Minecraft: Halo Edition mash-up pack, according to GameSpot, Microsoft is giving the building games new skins based on Halo 5: Guardians. The new DLC skins will be available starting Oct. 23 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and it will feature new Master Chief and Spartan Locke skins and skins based on the other members of Blue Team and Fire team Osiris, including Nathan Fillion's Edward Buck.

The good news is that if the player already has "Minecraft: Halo Edition mash-up pack," the additional skins or characters will come as a free update, according to Xbox blog. For those purchasing the content for the first time, with the news skins included, the cost is $3.99.
Moreover, the Xbox site says that the Mash-up pack DLC, created by 4J Studios, includes a Halo-themed texture set, themed menus and user interface, craft-able items, and 31 music tracks across the Halo franchise. Included as well are 40 pixel-perfect character skins depicting beloved Halo characters such as the Master Chief, Cortana, Sergeant Johnson and the Arbiter among others. To fully absorb the Halo 5 experience, the pack includes pre-made worlds such as Silent Cartographer, Sandtrap, Valhalla, Blackout, Guardian, Blood Gulch and plenty of well-known Halo vehicles and features.
Therefore, the update will include Spartan-117 The Master Chief, Spartan-104 Fredric, Spartan-087 Kelly and Spartan-058 Linda for the Blue Team. On the other hand, Spartan Locke, Spartan Buck, Spartan Tanaka, Spartan Vale will be the additional contents for the Fireteam Osiris.
Halo 5: Guardians will be release for Xbox One exclusively 4 days after the Minecraft DLC update. Microsoft recently acquired Minecraft from Swedish developer.
