The new Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online update is scheduled to be released today, Oct. 20, exclusively for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
In a new Lowrider update trailer released ahead of today's launch, Rockstar shows off new content coming to Los Santos that would bring players a wide range of options for customization. According to Daily Express, the trailer teases of new crazy designs to choose from and experiment on.
A new location called "Benny's Original Motor Works" will be added to the GTA Online map. Rockstar's description reads, "Located conveniently in Strawberry, just south of the Olympic Freeway, Benny's is a full service garage specializing in Lowrider culture and customization. Visit for their grand re-opening [on] October 20."
Daily Express added that the high level of car modding is first for the game. It will allow players to purchase a new fleet of vehicles and customize their specifications based on their own preferences. A mission pack involving Franklin's friend Lamar Davis who tries to dominate the Lowrider scene will be added, as well as three new adversary mode maps.
As confirmed earlier, the new content will not be available to Xbox 360 and PS3 because of hardware limitations.
Meanwhile, Gamezone reported that Lowrider update files also contain Halloween-themed items such as masks, Ambient music and creepy sounds. Yan2295 wrote on Twitter, "The Halloween stuff will be part of what they call the 'Halloween Surprise,' Sorry Rockstar, it's no longer a surprise. :x #GTAOnline"
In other news, there are speculations that there is already a solid plan for GTA 6 and Rockstar is already working on them, NeuroGadget said. GTA 6 could not be expected to be released earlier than 2018 though. According to NeuroGadget, if all goes well, it could be released most likely in 2020.
