Judith Sheindlin, popularly known as Judge Judy for her famous courtroom-arbitration reality show has reportedly sold her Pied-a-Terre in New York for $8.5 million. She had listed the property on the open market for $9 million in January. Just after five months, the place has sold for a little lesser than the asking price.
Judge Judy grabbed headlines with her super splurge on the plush 2 bedroom- 2.5 bathrooms apartment at the Sherry Netherlands Hotel, that cost her around 6.7 million back in 2009.
The apartment sits on the eleventh floor of the hotel complex, which is an expensive high-rise located at the Fifth Avenue Street in New York. Spread over a 3000 square foot area, the place has a large foyer and a spacious bright living room. The flooring is completely done in hardwood with subtle stripes. A deeply paneled TV room sits adjacent to a small modern kitchen. There is a laundry room too. Large walk-in closets line the bedrooms along with attached baths.

Apart from her Sherry apartment, Judge Judy also has a penthouse in Naples, Florida, which is said to be her primary residence where she loves spending quality time with her folks. She also owns a massive nine bedroom manse in Greenwich.
More recently, she snagged a posh unit in the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel for around $10.7 million. Apparently, Oprah Winfrey owns a unit in the hotel too.
Judge Judy married thrice, twice to current husband - Jerry Sheindlin, who was also a former judge. The couple has five children and 12 grandchildren with whom Judge Judy likes to go snorkeling, shopping and antiquing.
The family court judge is said to be the highest paid TV personality making around $123,000 per day! In 2012, Judge Judy also made her way into the highest-paid-women list of Forbes joining the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres.
