"NCIS: Los Angeles" episode five of season seven finds "NCIS" Tony DiNozzo teaming up with his West Coast counterparts to find an escaped prisoner who he should be escorting back to Gibbs. Actor Eric Christian Olsen reveals some juicy bits about his character on the show.
"NCIS" special agent DiNozzo is in Los Angeles on a simple mission of escorting a suspected money launderer by the name of Rio Syamsundin. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, before DiNozzo can get his hands on his assignment, he finds out the prisoner he is supposed to bring back in the afternoon is missing. Instead of calling his boss Gibbs, DiNozzo had the "bright" idea of asking help from "NCIS: Los Angeles."
The team agreed to keep it on the down low as they rush to find the missing Rio. Even Hetty who knew what really happened decided to let her crew help DiNozzo initially did not tell them that he needed to take the afternoon flight back with the prisoner they were looking for.
In a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the actor who plays Deeks in the show shared that his character will be up against DiNozzo's charm as Kensi and him are tasked to partner with the veteran agent. Olsen said, "He partners with Kensi and I and he's flirting with her, and she's flirting with him and then he's kind of flirting with Deeks. Of course, Kensi has a crush on DiNozzo, so it plays out well."
According to Olsen, the crossover episode is the funniest by far they have made for the spinoff series. He narrates a scene where DiNozzo comes to their boathouse and he is dressed in a Bruce Lee outfit. Olsen also revealed that Deeks will be arrested in the future by internal affairs which will test his relationship with Kensi.
