Last week, Electronic Arts (EA) announced that they will be launching a Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition that will include everything that comes with the deluxe edition and the season pass. Everything seemed to have been explained except for the price of the Ultimate Edition.
Now, the preorder page for the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC is already live and the Premium version of Star Wars Battlefront is priced at $119.99 which is twice the price of the standard edition.
According to GameSpot, Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition includes the main game, its DLC pass that comes with four expansion, and Deluxe Edition content that includes five items namely Ion Grenade, Ion Torpedo, Han Solo's DL-44 blaster, Ion Shock emote, and the Victory emote.
The Ultimate Edition doesn't really bring savings, instead it is a convenience bundle so the player won't have to buy everything separately. There are no extra perks either, according to GameSpot.
As for comparing the prices for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, the premium edition sells for $119.99 for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version while Origin sells the PC version at $146.80. On the other hand, there is a little treat for Xbox One users with EA Access membership. They are entitled to a 10 percent savings on all Battlefront content.
Star Wars Battlefront just ended its multiplayer beta last Oct. 13. It is now known to be the largest beta in EA's history for having attracted nine million beta participants across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition, developed by EA Dice and published by Electronic arts is scheduled for release on Nov. 17, about a month before the much awaited film "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" premieres in theaters worldwide.
