Samantha Steffen and her boyfriend, Nick Peterson, have reportedly split up. According to reports, it seems that the almost-perfect relationship of the "Bachelor in Paradise (BIP)" stars have been strained by distance.
It is said that Samantha and her boyfriend tried hard to make their relationship work, but they both have decided that taking a break from it would be the best thing to do. "The main reason for the breakup is the distance," the insider said. Samantha is based in Los Angeles, California, while hunky Nick is based in Tampa, Florida.
Samantha's boyfriend recently posted on his Instagram page which reportedly disappointed "BIP" fans. On Oct. 9, he shared a photo of himself and Samantha during their happier times, according to Hollywood Life.
"Rumor mill has it right this time. Samantha and I have decided the distance is too tough at this time. She's an amazing girl and I'm so thankful for the experience and time we had together! We'll absolutely remain friends and I wish her all the best with all that she has going on! #BachelorInParadise #BrokenSpell," Nick wrote on Instagram.
According to Movie News Guide, Samantha and her boyfriend had become close since the start of Season 2 of "BIP." Now, although the 28-year-old actress parted ways with him, the two have remained amicable with each other.
Despite the breakup, the fashion CEO from California claims that Nick is a great guy. She also said that she would take a break from the dating scene as of the moment.
With the latest split of Samantha and Nick, Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper remains to be the only couple who survived their romance. This year, "BIP" cast Ashley Salter ended her relationship with Dan Cox and Nick. She is now engaged to Austin Brannen.
