Billy Joel, the famous pianist, singer and song composer has reportedly sold his mega-mansion in Miami for $14 million. After almost sitting on the market for a year, the home sold to Diego Della Valle, owner of shoe company, Tod's Shoes, TMZ reports.
According to the listing records, the home is an elegant waterfront property spanning an area of 8881 square feet, sitting on a 30,330 square feet lot. Comprising of seven bedrooms and eight full and one half bathroom, the home is a Mediterranean style, single family residence.
Interiors of the home boast of marble flooring with large wood framed glass doors and windows. Living spaces include a large drawing room, a formal dining room, a family room, a great room and an office/ study. The house also has a gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, a luxury bar with a wine cellar and a laundry room too.
The exteriors of the home are the best features of the place. A large heated pool with huge seating areas and lovely views of the ocean are just the place to entertain visitors. A detached guest house, an outdoor kitchen and a four-car parking garage complete the exteriors of the home.
