Capcom has prepared something new for the characters of the arcade fighting game "Ultra Street Fighter IV."
"Ultra Street Fighter IV" the fighting game from Capcom, in partnership with Dimps, is getting a special Halloween treat. The developers have revealed a new Halloween-themed costume pack for the characters in the "Street Fighter." According to GameSpot, the costume packs will be available on Oct. 27 as downloadable contents through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
According to the Capcom-Unity blogsite, "Street Fighter" fans can obtain the Halloween-themed costumes by purchasing the "Complete Horror Pack" for $19.99 or they can also opt to buy the costume set per select characters individually for $3.99.
With the "Horror Pack" the gamers can celebrate Halloween with their favorite "Street Fighter" characters if they choose not to go out in costumes and go trick-or-treating.
In the mean time, Capcom has released an official schedule for the second beta test for the upcoming "Street Fighter V," according to PlayStation Lifestyle. The beta is set for Oct. 21, 6 p.m. PST for PlayStation 4 owners. For PC users, the "Street Fighter V" beta will begin on Oct. 23, following a server maintenance period. The beta period will continue through Oct. 25, ending just two days before the new Halloween-themed costume pack is released. During the beta period two characters will be unlocked. On Oct. 23 Rashi will be unlocked first, 15 hours later Karin will follow. There will be a total of two server maintenance down times within the beta test period.
"Ultra Street Fighter IV" was initially released on July 16, 2008 as part of the "Street Fighter" series for PlayStation 3, Arcade, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Microsoft Windows platforms.
For now "Street Fighter V" has no specific date of release yet. It will be released sometime in 2016.
