"The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" is an upcoming action-adventure game currently being developed by Nintendo exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. It was officially announced during the 2015 E3 and it will be released in Japan on October 22, 2015 and in the North America on Oct. 23.
So far "The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" has received positive reviews from Famitsu ahead of the release. The Japanese text in the review page was translated by Nintendo Everything. There are four different reviews and each reviewer gave the game a high score.
The first reviewer gave it a score of nine and commends the game for offering features that allow simultaneous play for three users. The reviewer mentioned the "totem" feature which the reviewer said, "has you piggybacking with your teammates to solve new kinds of puzzles and mysteries from a new height." The second reviewer also gave the same score and shared the same opinion with the first reviewer but added that collecting items at the end of quests and unlocking new outfits are fun game features.
Reviewer three gave the "The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" an eight and said that whether its multiplayer or solo game play, the best part was solving puzzles because it challenges the mind to think. The reviewer also mentioned the game's other modes: local play, download play and Internet play. The fourth reviewer gave the game a score of eight and said that for the multiplayer option, the participating players should all have a knowledge of Zelda. The players should at least be as good in all levels as one another.
It was not detailed but the fourth reviewer mentioned about some social features. Moreover, it was not clear if the said social features were pertaining to in-game communication among players or extending to something broader such as Facebook-sharing.
On the downside, there was one reviewer who has mentioned that the puzzles become repetitive at a certain point while another one has mentioned that having three characters in solo mode can be a bit difficult. Other than that "The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" has a score that sums up to 36 out of 40 with all scores from the four reviewers combined.
