Vancouver Home + Design Show: Best Designers to Look Out For

The Vancouver Home + Design Show attracts a lot of designers and it is usually a star-studded affair of the who's who of design.

The Vancouver Home+ Design Show is one of the year's biggest events that will feature home design. And many of today's top design acts are expected to grace the affair according to Straight.com. For people who are looking to hobnob with these great designers, looking for the latest design ideas, or simply learn a new DIY project, it is an excellent idea to head out to the Vancouver Convention Centre during the weekend. There is a good chance that people are going to catch these star designers:

"Love it List it Vancouver" co-host and interior designer Jillian Harris. Most people will remember her as part of "The Bachelor" reality show but she is an excellent designer too. She appeared on "Canada's Handyman Challenge" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Harris is well known for her fond use of combining both high- and low-brow styles which has become a trademark of her designs.

Todd Talbot, the better half of the "Love it or List it" tandem who is also a real estate consultant is also going to be on stage for the event as announced by The Vancouver Home+ Design Show site. Talbot claims that his family saw signs of him being "Mr. Fix-it" at a very early age. He was acting in theatre when he decided to pursue real estate and build a portfolio of his own.

Cheryl Torrenueva, host of "Game of Homes," is also an interior designer by profession. She got her degree on interior design from Ryerson University and has appeared in numerous design related shows such as HGTV's "Colin and Justin's Home Heist" and "The Rachel Ray Show." She also contributes to Blanco Canada's Kitchen Design Council and Metrie's Design Council.
