Halloween is fast approaching! If you think you have no knife-carving skills, you can try these no-carve pumpkin design tips:
Crayon Pumpkin
As suggested by The Swell Designer, you can glue crayons on top of your pumpkins and hair-dry them out! See the crayons melt into your pumpkin, making it creepily creative!
Polka Pumpkin
Place stickers on your pumpkin and spray black paint on it. Wait for it to dry for around 20 minutes before peeling off the stickers. Tie an orange ribbon around the top and voila! Display your polka pumpkin on your front porch for everyone to admire. Thanks to Home Stories A to Z for the tip.
Stenciled Pumpkin
Use sponge brush to paint on your pumpkin. Once it dries, place the stencil over the pumpkin. Apply paint until the entire area is completely covered. Make sure to wait for the paint to dry before taking off the stencil. Repeat until your desired pattern is done.
Mummy Pumpkin
Glue gauze strips (or cheese cloth if you like) on your pumpkin and add googly eyes! Simple and easy yet fun!
Studded Pumpkin
Since you may find using glue pretty annoying due to sticky fingers, use gold and silver thumbtacks instead. Just press them into your pumpkin to create a lovely or scary pattern. White pumpkins are highly recommended for this easy DIY Halloween project.
Handprint Pumpkin
Another simple no-carve pumpkin decorating tip is to dunk your hand into different colors of paint and stick them up on your pumpkin.
Laced Pumpkin
From Allyson Baker Design, in a bowl, pour starch and dip the doilies in it. Placed the starched doilies on the pumpkin and stretch them out until they flatten. Continue placing the doilies until you have reached your desired pattern. Let them dry over night before wiping off the excess starch.
