Dave Grohl, the primary songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and founder of rock band 'Foo Fighters', has reportedly decided to unload his water-front residence in Oxnard, a small coastal city in California. He has listed the home with a price tag of $3.2 million.
According to the Zillow blog, Grohl picked the house up sometime back in 2006 for
$3.7 million. Considering the asking price, looks like Grohl is selling it for a loss.
Listing records of the home claim that the residence is a 3088 square feet home sitting on a 2875 square feet lot. Comprising of four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the home has swanky interiors including floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows.
The listing describes the home as:
This quintessential California beachfront home is ideally suited for coastal living and entertaining. Built in 2005, the well maintained 4bdrm/4bath house faces the wide sandy expanse of Mandalay Beach. It offers panoramic ocean views with gorgeous sunsets and the Channel Islands in the distance. A full Viking kitchen w/ granite counter tops and eat-in bar join the living room, which invites you out to the beach. All four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, three upstairs and one down. The double high-beamed ceilings appoint the grand stairway upstairs, which leads to a lovely master suite featuring a generous bath, walk-in closet, fireplace, balcony, and more spectacular ocean views. In addition, the entire house is wired for home entertainment; the fourth bedroom is set up as a family room/theater. The property also includes a highly desirable 4-car garage with plenty of room for surf and sand toys. This is a great place to enjoy the beach life or call home.
