Fans of "Castle" Season 8 are not happy with Rick Castle and Kate Beckett's recent split. However, they believe that this isn't the worst part of the show's recent installment.
According to TV Line, the executive producers of "Castle" recently confirmed that there will be a major shift in the ABC series. Although the execs didn't divulge any details about the shift, fans are speculating that it could have something to do with Rick and Kate's marriage.
The show's upcoming episode of Nov. 23 will be called "Mr. & Mrs. Castle," and one fan wrote an interesting take on Design & Trend this week.
"Based on the title for the fall finale episode, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, (of the original movie, not the spy movie with Pitt and Jolie), the twist may be that they are not married after all. Something went wrong with filing their marriage license so the marriage isn't legal and NY is not a common-law marriage state. Or it could be something totally different too."
Meanwhile, fans are also speculating on what could take place between Rick and Kate on the Nov. 16 episode called "The Last Seduction."
"I feel that in episode 6 Kate seduces the ghost, kills him and calls Rick's stepmother in to clean the drapery (remove the body) at that point Kate has no reason for not going home to Rick and celebrating their first year of marriage."
In other news, fans have also been urging the co-showrunners of "Castle" Season 8 to immediately reunite Rick and Kate.
"BRING KATE BECKETT BACK HOME TO RICK CASTLE ASAP!! Or otherwise if not this will be a huge betrayal to the loyal fans by the showrunners, writers and ABC STUDIOS," one fan wrote.
"Castle" Season 8 will air an episode from Season 7 on Oct. 26 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
