Grant Show Buys in Marina del Rey for $1.7 Million

Grant Show, best known for his role in the 90s hit series "Melrose Place," has reportedly dropped $41.74 million on a beautiful water-front home in Marina del Rey, a seaside community in California. Show purchased the home with actress wife, Katherine LaNasa, according to the Zillow Blog.

Listing records of the home state that the house is a 1552 square feet, single family residence built in 1992. The residence has four bedrooms and one full and one half bathroom.

The Blog describes the home as:

Their new love nest is small but charming: a 1922-built home with a wide front porch and beachy feel. The home measures 1,552 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Paying nearly $2 million for a 1,500-square-foot home may seem like a lot for most parts of the country, but in the Venice area, where home values hit around $1.138 million, it's the norm.

While Show just dropped a million and a little more on the beach-front residence, he has his Hollywood Hills home listed for $1.82 million. The house hit the market in June 2012. According to the LA Times, that home is a Spanish-style residence, built in 1927. Show renovated the floor-plan when he purchased it.

When originally built, the front door of the 3,483-square-foot home opened up to a foyer that led to the master bedroom, a bathroom and a large den or entertainment room. The kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms were down a flight of stairs.

Now the main floor contains the kitchen, dining and living rooms, and all three bedrooms are below. Features include 20-foot-tall living room ceilings, multiple balconies and solar-generated electricity. The house has 21/2 bathrooms and sits on a quarter-acre with city views.

Show last graced the silver screen in a horror flick "The Possession" that released in 2012. Talking about the movie, Show said:

"I was sent the script by my agent almost a year and a half ago now and just really loved it. I had met Marc (Cherry) about a year before on another pilot that he did and liked him a lot. I went in and we read together, and it was just kind of a good fit."

Currently, he plays "Spence Whitmore" on the comic-drama TV series, "Devious Maids."
