The "Born This Way" crooner, Lady Gaga has reportedly moved into a luxury penthouse in Big Apple's 40 Central Park South building. She will be coughing up $22,000 a month for the elaborate pad, according to several media reports.
According to the Real Estalker, the home is a large two-bedroom, two bathroom home with 1,963 square feet of terrace spaces. Living spaces include a formal drawing room, a dining area and a U-shaped kitchen. Building amenities include 24/7 doorman and concierge services and on-site garage parking as well.

Residents of the building are super-excited with her arrival. One of the residents said to Life and Style:
"It's so cool! She comes and goes with all this security. I can't believe she's my neighbor!"
The penthouse has quite the celebrity history. Apparently, it was earlier occupied by Liza Minnelli, Michael Bennett and Lance Armstrong.
The huge rent is nothing for Gaga. She confessed that money doesn't mean much to her at all.
"It's honestly true that money means nothing to me. The only big things I've purchased are my dad's heart valve and a Rolls-Royce for my parents, for their anniversary."
Though the rent is what an average American makes in a year, it must be change for Gaga. The "Alejandro" singer reportedly makes $80 million in a year. She came in second in Forbes' "The World's Most Powerful Celebrities" list, trailing behind talk show host, Oprah Winfrey. Check out the list here.
More recently, she stepped out in public for a noble cause, supporting the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Community (LGBT). She gave a moving speech at New York's Gay Pride kick-off rally at Pier 26 on Friday. This was her first public appearance since the cancellation of her "Born This Way Ball" tour.
