CBS series "Survivor" let the fans vote for players that they want to be returned to the reality show of the upcoming season, wherein Terry Deitz was given another chance to join the show.
In "Survivor: Panama," Deitz was named as the "challenge beast" since he won back-to-back challenges for the 12th season of the Survivor but despite his victory in many challenges, he lost on the most crucial stage and was voted out, placing third.
As he returned for another try on "Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance," he still showed his wit, perseverance and strength proving to be one of the strongest players. Former pilot Deitz was the oldest man on the tribes but he excelled on most of the challenges, which might lead him to win the $1 million cash price.
Yet, despite being leading on the challenges, spoilers reveal that Deitz will quit the reality show on the "Survivor" episode, entitled "Bunking With the Devil" because of the condition of his son. On a Facebook post, Deitz was asking for prayers for his son's heart transplant, said fans on a thread on the "Survivor Sucks" forum.
"Here's to our son Danny and to all the friends and family who prayed for him. Although it was not the outcome we were hoping for, Danny will be one of the privileged few to be put on the heart transplant list," he said on the post.
A preview of Episode 6 posted on "Survivor Fever" reveals Jeff Probst saying, "Hey it's Probst," which is usually said by the host when there is something to announce- either someone is leaving or there is an emergency at one of the contestant's home. This sparked rumors that it might be Deitz who will leave.
But there isn't a confirmation yet that Deitz left the show. Fans would need to watch the episode so they will know if there is truth to the spoilers that recently came out.
