New mum Adele provides the 411 between her fiance Simon Konecki and the songs in her latest "25" album.
According to E! News, Ryan Seacrest knew what is on everyone's minds after the smashing debut of Adele's most-awaited album, "25." During his latest "On The Air with Ryan Seacrest," the E! News host queried on how Simon Konecki reacted about it.
"We're like in a solid relationship and he's my soul mate and my best mate, and he sees it as my art and my outlet and something that I did before him," Adele explained. "['Hello'] is not about a past boyfriend or anything like that, but if it was, I think he'd be alright with it anyway because we're in a strong healthy place. It wouldn't be an issue."
The 27-year-old singer also shared a little background behind "Hello," which is the first released song from "25." She assured him that there's no "specific" guy for the said song.
Adele, who's full name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, met Konecki in 2011. He is a charity entrepreneur whom she started dating in January 2012. Adele and Konecki had a baby son together named Angelo James Konecki. He was born on Oct. 19, 2012.
In another article from E! News, the "25" singer confessed to BB2 Radio that the album almost never happened after she had the life-changing experience to become the mother of the 3-year-old Angelo James.
"It all slowed down. Obviously, I took a lot of time off because I became a mum. I took a lot of time off for that and then when I thought I was ready to start writing, I wasn't...so I took some more time off. And then I was ready," she said. "A couple of times, I thought I'd dried up, yeah."
Moreover, the award-winning hitmaker expressed her enthusiasm about the album in an emotional letter posted on her Twitter. Described as her "make-up record," she said that the "25" album will be her way of "making up for the lost time." She previously released "21" in 2011 before she went on a hiatus due to her pregnancy.
"25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising. And I'm sorry it took so long but, you know, life happened," Adele wrote in a statement.
As of this writing, the first "25" single entitled "Hello" has more than 22 million views and counting. The music video premiered on Thursday, Oct. 22.
Adele's "25" album will be released in November.
