In a photo featuring another rare appearance of 36-year-old actress Katie Holmes and her 9-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, Suri appeared to be inconsolable.
Radar Online first shared the photo which was reportedly taken after the duo watched a recent football game. Katie wore a boho-like blouse and jeans while Suri was in a blue sports team shirt with few strands of multi-colored beads. Both of them were clutching onto a flag with the phrase, "Go, Patriots. Go!" on it.
Another photo was released online and this time, Tom Cruise's daughter is in a good mood. She was seen touching a seemingly star-shaped patch of blue face paint as she looked at the paparazzi.
This is not the first time that the mother-and-daughter duo was recently seen. According to Us Weekly, the "Ray Donovan" actress brought her daughter during the Global Citizen Festival last Sept. 26.
Holmes was slated to make a speech about the rampant poverty and served as one of the hosts. Right after the event, she and Suri were all smiles as they waved in front of thousands of people at Central Park. The event was also attended by other notable personalities and celebrities including First Lady Michelle Obama, "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington and Ed Sheeran.
Holmes was recently seen in the 2015 film "Woman in Gold' starring Helen Mirren and the upcoming romance drama film, "Touched with Fire."
She also returned on TV with her recurring role as Paige Finney in "Ray Donovan." The Showtime series concluded the third season on Sept. 27.
The "Dawson's Creek" actress shared the custody of Suri with "Mission Impossible" star Tom Cruise, whom she married on Nov. 18, 2006. Holmes filed for divorce in 2015 after being together for five years. This marks as the actress' first divorce and the third one for Cruise. Holmes retains the custody of their daughter who was born on Apr. 18, 2008.
