Demi Lovato allegedly dumped Adam Lambert at the last minute to replace him with Nick Jonas for her upcoming world tour to promote her new album.
Adam Lambert is reportedly furious over the decision to ditch him and put Jonas in the opening performance for the concert tour. TMZ said that Demi and Adam are at the planning stages and have already agreed on various things including money. But because the manager who handles both Lovato and Jonas wanted the two to be in the same stage, Demi was convinced to let go of Lambert and put Nick in.
"Demi was supposed to announce the tour last week but delayed it ... and now we know why," TMZ added.
A source from the Adam camp reportedly told TMZ that what Demi did was "very unprofessional and unethical."
While there are no comments from Demi and Nick's camps yet, Adam Lambert took to Twitter to slam the rumors and clarify that all is well between him, Demi and Nick. The "American Idol" alum posted, "Aww I love you all very much. No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the #rumors?"
Demi Lovato is expected to announce details of the upcoming world tour in the coming days. Her new album titled "Confident" has just been released and she received supports from celebrity friends over Twitter including Nick Jonas. The "Jealous" singer tweeted, "So proud of my friend @ddlovato on the release of her new album CONFIDENT! This record is a masterpiece. Go check it out."
Mirror noted that the "Cool for the Summer" singer had a brief relationship with Nick's brother, Joe Jonas. They called it quits in 2010. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are famously known as friends and have actually launched a joint record label earlier this year, Gossip Cop said.
