On the Oct. 23 episode of the "The Young & The Restless," Cane told Lily and Neil that he's going to prove the cops wrong, but then Paul and some police officers came with a search warrant that got Cane angry.
Devon also received a search warrant for Cane's gym locker and the police found a hoodie which Devon never saw Cane wore. Joe wondered if Cane did it but Dylan told him to stay out of it. Cane arrived with Neil and Lily and Devon told them about the hoodie. Cane asked them if they think he did it and just leave the evidence there. Devon said something about the surveillance footage which showed Cane enter the gym locker room with something on his hands and then left carrying nothing.
He should just admit that he's guilty, Devon suggested, but Cane wanted Lily to defend her. They started arguing and Cane expected that he doesn't need to prove himself to her. Dylan and Joe intervened. Cane left after telling them all to go to hell. He told Neil he can't stay home if his wife doesn't believe him. Paul will send the hoodie to the lab to be analyzed.
Meanwhile, the jury found Adam guilty of felony hit-and-run involving Cordelia Abbott's death. Kevin was disappointed that Billy forgave Adam. Adam was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Kevin said it was not enough. As Adam was heading to the police van, a car ran down on him and he was knocked down, unconscious.
Billy talked to Delia's tree and said it's all over now that Adam was found guilty. Victoria told Billy he should forgive himself because he still thinks it's his fault because he was supposed to protect her. He must let go of his anger and not lie to Delia, Victoria said.
