Christina Aguilera A Nightmare In ‘The Voice’? Gwen Stefani To Leave When Aguilera Returns

A fabricated tabloid report has accused Christina Aguilera of being a "nightmare" behind the scenes of "The Voice." Gossip Cop was quick to correct that the rumor is not true - the singer, songwriter is not a diva off cam.

As per Gossip Cop, the report from OK! Magazine said that the "The Voice" coach has been named "chief diva" for allegedly showing an eccentric behavior in some seasons of the competition. A source reportedly told the magazine, "She made outrageous food and scheduling demands and even had the upholstery on her chair customized to velvet." The insider further claimed that the coach "forced everyone to come in super early... so she could wrap in time for a dinner date," but she "showed up an hour late."

After validating with a source involved in the production of "The Voice," Gossip Cop said "we're exclusively assured there's 'no truth' to the magazine's account of Aguilera's alleged diva-like antics."

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Christina Aguilera will return to "The Voice" Season 10, joining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. She will replace Gwen Stefani. Daily Mail noted that Aguilera took a break from the show in August 2014 after giving birth to daughter Summer Rain. She also worked on a new album.

Meanwhile, Stefani -- who's being linked to another coach Blake Shelton -- said in an interview with Billboard that she's not done with "The Voice" yet and would love to return.

"They're all so smart, they're all lovely. They all got my back. I love them," she said of her "The Voice" family. Stefani added, "I can't wait to get back on set and do the lives. It's so fun. It's the funnest thing I think I've ever done, and so inspiring,"

"The Voice" is currently halfway with the ninth season. The next season will premiere sometime in February next year.
