‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 3 Episode 4 Recap: ‘The Sister Mills’ Features One Scary Tooth Fairy

"Sleepy Hollow" season three episode four is called "The Sister Mills" and it showcased one of the scariest versions of the Tooth Fairy on television.

"Sleepy Hollow" never runs out of scary creatures to feature as villains but fans and viewers who happened to watch the fourth episode of the current season of the show all agree that the version of the Tooth Fairy the series creators concocted is one of the sickest.

According to TV Line, "The Sister Mills" episode starts out with the Tooth Fairy sending a girl into coma after it tries to suck its soul for apparently losing her teeth. The girl's older sister saw the attack but no sane adult would have her story except for the Mills sisters who believe the girl was on to something.

Crane recounts his encounter with the same fiend in the old days. As it turned out, it was the niece of Betsy Ross who was lucky enough to be just falling into a coma after meeting the Tooth Fairy as all the children who came into contact with it died.

Crane was helpless during this time so Ross called Paul Revere. Crane was left out during the next sequence of events where he has a realization. Revere was a practicing dentist and he knows how to fix this problem with the hideous Tooth Fairy who sucks children's souls.

Revere, according to Entertainment Weekly, is not just about that famous midnight ride he is well known for. For "Sleepy Hollow," he is another supernatural hero fighting against the forces of darkness. Crane discovers that whatever weapon Revere had that effectively healed Ross' niece should be inside the dental bag, which unfortunately is located in Raleigh in present time; Crane and company device a plan to get Revere's bag which they did by pretending to be calling in behalf of a museum.
