David Spade Sells Malibu Home to Netflix Executive: Report

Actor and comedian David Spade has sold his beachfront Malibu home for $10,225,000 after having it on the market for six years, to a C-level executive at Netflix, according to reports.

David Spade, the former "Just Shoot Me" actor, purchased the 3763 sqft beachfront property on May 20, 2005 for $9.3 million, according to the Housing Wire. The actor then placed the home for sale two years later for nearly double the paying rate, at $16 million. After failing to garner interest in the home, Spade de-listed the Malibu home and leased it out, according to Trulia.

The "Grown Ups 2" actor then re-listed the home located at 21606 Pacific Coast Highway in December 2011 with an asking price of $13.5 million.

The property is located on an immaculate stretch of La Costa Beach and has rare patio privacy and a beautiful pool on the backside of the property.

According to the report, the home comes complete with high ceilings, gorgeous wood floors and numerous doors opening to the incredible sandy coastline.

Spade owns another home in Beverly Hills which he purchased on December 2011. The $4 million pad in the Trousdale Estates was previously occupied by Eddie Murphy and Warren Beatty, according to the Daily Mail.

The identity of the Netflix executive who bought the home was not revealed.
