Looks like Kim K may need to step aside as an actress from China outspent her in terms of throwing a lavish wedding. As per Telegraph, a 26-year-old Chinese actress named Angela Yeung, or also known as Angelababy spent a whopping $31 million for her fairytale wedding.
Dubbed as China's Kim Kardashian, Angelababy married her 6-year boyfriend and Chinese actor, Huang Xiaoming last week. The wedding was held in Shanghai Exhibition Center. They might have spent $31 million, but the website stated that much of their expenses were sponsored by various brands and major companies as they'd get to have wide exposure all throughout the wedding due to the live screening on the internet.
The couple already had a private wedding prior to the luxurious ceremony, as per reports, it was attended by 2,000 guests. Their carousel wedding cake measured 2.5 meters which took the makers a month to finish the whole thing. The whole venue was then adorned by roses as it was Angela's dream to get married in a castle.
Her haute couture dress was designed by Dior which was adorned by organza sleeves and "Chantilly lace bouquet". It took 5 months to finish her gown which was embellished with 115 feet satin organza, 170 feet of tulle crafted into her skirt which has 7 layers and a 10 foot train.
As per reports, each guest was able to receive expensive goodies which include a mobile phone. Her six carat diamond ring is said to worth $1.5 million. The celebrity couple may have spent $31 million but as per Celebrity Net Worth, Angelbaby is only worth $40 million, while her husband who is also a Chinese actor on the other hand is worth $40 million. As per the website, the couple spent 25% of their combined net worth on their wedding.
