'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 Episode 6 Spoilers: Meredith & Penny Wiill Clash At Their Workplace; Will This Affect Her Relationship With Callie?

Last Thursday night, "Grey's Anatomy" aired its 250th episode, and there were some intense details revealed about Callie's (Sara Ramirez) new girlfriend. In the new episode, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) will encounter conflicts in the workplace.

In the last episode of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12, Meredith revealed that Callie's new girlfriend, Penny (Samantha Sloyan), was one of the surgeons who failed to save her late husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) when he was involved in a car crash in Season 11. When she learned that Penny was going to Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital to become a resident, Meredith told her friends, "The perfect Penny killed my husband."

According to International Business Times, Amelia (Caterina Scoresone) was upset with Meredith when she found out the truth, since Meredith did not say anything when Penny walked through the door of their home to attend the party. It was also reported that this will cause some conflict between Meredith and Callie.

Christian Today reports that intense scenes will continue to take place as Meredith will find out that Penny will be under her. In one of the scenes in the promotional video, Penny tells Meredith that she does not want things to be awkward between them now that they are working together. Meredith seems to be irritated and just snaps at her, saying, "So don't make it awkward."

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Amelia will also give the new resident a hard time as she was also seen giving Penny a spiteful glance.

In other news, the official synopsis for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 6 reveals that Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) will still find ways to progress on his relationship with his daughter Maggie (Kelly McCreary), while April (Sarah Drew) will handle a case of a young boy from the Middle East.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 6 won't be airing this week as the show is scheduled to return on Nov. 5 on ABC.
