"Dance Moms" Season 6 fans will miss Maddie Ziegler in the first three episodes of the hit Lifetime reality TV show. Just this month, the series already filmed three episodes that will feature three different competitions, and Ziegler has not yet attended any of them.
As of late, the 13-year-old "Chandelier" dancer is still in New York City filming her scenes as Christina in the upcoming Colin Trevorrow movie, "The Book of Henry." With this, fans are now speculating on the possibility of Ziegler being axed from the series because she can no longer commit to the show that helped launch her fame. According to Christian Today, Ziegler could be removed from the series if she can no longer commit to the show.
In a previous interview, the professional dancer said that she wants to focus more on her acting and singing so she could be a triple threat.
Meanwhile, one fan of "Dance Moms" recently commented on Design & Trend's website that Ziegler's absence doesn't mean that she will be removed from the series altogether.
"Of course Maddie is still absent. She's filming a motion picture in NYC. The filming of a movie trumps a dance competition any day of the week. Who's to say that there hasn't been a camera crew from 'Dance Moms' filming Maddie while she's working on the set of the movie? (It was done when she was performing with Sia, and had to miss some DM episodes)," the fan wrote.
In other news, Ziegler's sister Mackenzie has already filmed three episodes of "Dance Moms" Season 6. This could serve as a confirmation that Ziegler will also return to the series after the filming for "The Book of Henry" wraps up.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 will premiere on Lifetime sometime next year.
