"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev recently responded to fans who are still not over her split from Ian Somerhalder a few years ago. Just recently, multiple reports claimed that Somerhalder is contemplating on whether or not he wants to get back together with his former co-star and ex-girlfriend.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed are having some problems as of late because of the latter's role in "Sleepy Hollow." The publication claimed that Somerhalder wants his wife to accept more motherly roles in preparation for the time when they finally decide to have kids.
However, Reed is very much invested in her role in the hit series, so she is not taking her husband's thoughts into consideration. With this, fans are speculating that Somerhalder will reach out to Dobrev sooner or later and ask her if they could get back together.
Unfortunately, the actress, who played the role of Elena Gilbert on the hit The CW series, recently shut down such rumors as she posted a sweet tweet on her official Twitter page. Dobrev poked fun on the fact that she's not following her boyfriend Austin Stowell on Twitter.
Stowell also posted a similar tweet on his official Twitter account, and fans couldn't help but notice how adorable the new couple is.
"That weird moment when your realize you don't follow your girlfriend on Twitter... #socialmediaproblems @ninadobrev," Stowell wrote.
"That awkward moment when you realize you're not following him either & gotta do it fast b4 he realizes @austinstowell," she replied.
Dobrev and Stowell have been officially dating for the past couple of months, but some of their supporters believe that their relationship could last for a really long time. Not only is Dobrev more mature in terms of her acting choices; some of her fans also believe that she'll eventually be ready to settle down.
