'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 News & Premiere Date: EP Reveals Storyline For New Season

After the controversial first season of "Fear The Walking Dead," creator Robert Kirkman revealed some details about the sophomore season of the show in the recently held New York Comic-Con.

Christian Post reports that Kirkman revealed that Season 2 of "Fear The Walking Dead" will still be about how the regular people will struggle in adjusting to the zombie situation. He added that these people do not have any knowledge about how to fight the zombies or how to handle weapons in fighting the undead.

Kirkman revealed that he wanted to tackle something that "The Walking Dead" did not focus on very much, and that is how a regular person would cope when a zombie wants to eat him. He said that so far, the viewers have seen how a regular person would react in this situation, and this was also similar when Glen (Steven Yeun) was forced to use a shotgun in the first season of "The Walking Dead" to save his life.

Kirkman also addressed the question of whether the characters will be fighting the undead in the water in the new season. He confirmed that there will definitely be some action in the water but said it does not mean that there will be action in the entire season. Kirkman revealed that the lead characters won't be fighting the zombies all the time but instead will be in a seafaring adventure.

Comic Book earlier reported that AMC released a preview for the second season of "Fear The Walking Dead." In the short promotional video for Season 2, the producers revealed that the new season will pick up where Season 1 left off. Season 1 ended with the family setting out to the sea to try to find a safe place, away from the zombies in Los Angeles.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 is currently in production and is expected to premiere sometime in 2016.
