For the first time since Lamar Odom's health scare, Khloe Kardashian was seen away from her husband's hospital bedside. Khloe, who has cancelled all her work committments since Odom's hospitalization last Oct. 13, left her vigil to attend sister Kim Kardashian's baby shower last Sunday, Oct. 25.
And it seems like the 31-year-old reality star also made time for a much-needed pampering. Khloe was spotted ditching her signature long, layered locks for a sassier and shorter bob.
Celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin posted a photo of Khloe on Instagram, revealing her new haircut that falls just below her shoulders. The selfie, which seems to be taken from the reality star's car, shows her wavy blonde hair brushed to one side, hiding one eye.
"Guess who joined the #shorthairdontcareclub," the stylist wrote on the caption.

Later that day, Khloe also posted a photo of the occasion on her Instagram, describing it as "Sisters Sunday." The picture showed all five Kardashian-Jenner sisters during the baby shower. The event, which was held in Beverly Hills, had a glamorous camping theme, and the sisters were seen wearing matching pajamas and white sneakers. Khloe's new bob was particularly noticeable in the photos.
According to Hollywood Life, Khloe, who also missed sister Kim's birthday party last week, was initially reluctant to attend her sister's baby bash. It was Odom who actually convinced her to leave the hospital and spend time with her family and friends.
"Lamar insisted Khloe go to Kim's baby shower because she has done so much for him and needs some downtime," a source told Hollywood Life. "He said that family were the most important thing and told her that he shouldn't let her big sister down."
According to People, Khloe spent a maximum of two hours at the party, and quickly returned to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Odom is currently confined.
It can be remembered that Kim Kardashian, who is expecting her second child with Kanye West, cancelled her first baby shower upon hearing the news of Odom's overdose. At eight months pregnant, Kim accompanied sister Khloe as she rushed to be by Odom's side.
