Saudi Prince Puts Kensington Mansion Home for Sale for $153 Million: Report

A Saudi prince has placed his luxurious home in Kensington, London up for sale for £100 million ($153 million), with prospective buyers required to sign a confidentiality agreement before they are granted a viewing.

The mansion located at Palace Green in Kensington belongs to Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd of Saudi Arabia, who has engaged estate agent Knight Frank to sell it, according to the Daily Mail. The prince is the son of the late King Fahd, who ruled Saudi Arabia for 23 years, and between them the Saudi royal family is believed to own a number of houses in the area.

Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd, 40, is attempting to sell one of Britain's priciest homes, which is located at the bottom of Kensington Palace Gardens - itself dubbed 'Billionaire's Row' as it is one of Britain's most expensive streets.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Kensington Palace home is yards away while neighbors include heiress Tamara Ecclestone, the Sultan of Brunei and the embassies of Israel, Norway and Romania.

The Kensington mansion was built in 1905 and has a three-storey detached home which features a gabled facade, marble staircases and wrought iron balustrades.

The listing is being handled by estate agents Knight Frank, who were reported by The Times to have already approached a number of potential buyers, getting them to sign confidentiality agreements regarding what they might see inside the property.
