'Law & Order SVU' Releases Photos and Trailer of Duggar Family Episode [WATCH]

NBC's "Law & Order SVU" will be airing an episode which fans believe is based on the controversial Duggar family. The episode, entitled "Patrimonial Burden," will be airing on Nov. 4.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the episode will follow the SVU team as it investigates the dark secrets of the Bakers, a famous reality television family of 10 children. The Bakers are wrapped up in a web of controversies after the shocking revelation that one of the kids is pregnant at 13.

The show has released a sneak peek for the episode, along with official photos, as acquired by Starcasm. In the clip as well as the photos, the family is eerily similar to the Duggars, from their family prayer times to their conservative outfits.

"One of the virgin daughters is knocked up. There goes the TV show," Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) says in the clip.

"You see it as a crime. We see it as a blessing," the Baker matriarch, who looks very much like a Michelle Duggar doppelganger, answers.

Similarly, the Duggars have been besieged by controversies and scandals ever since it was revealed that their eldest child Josh has committed sexual molestation acts as a teenager. Their reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," was cancelled upon the pulling out of sponsors due to negative publicity.

Meanwhile, "Law & Order" actor Peter Scanavino has previously spoken against the Duggars.

"With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact - I mean, honestly, I feel like we're dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family," he told Radar Online. "I have never been so infuriated with someone's level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else... When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say."

"Law & Order SVU" airs Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on NBC. Watch the Duggar-based episode's trailer below.
