Two ideas are circling the set of American Horror Story as the thriller series takes on the next installment.
With the latest season being one of the most anticipated one in the American Horror Story history, Ryan Murphy has been hyped on what to expect in the next one. Apparently, the show runner is looking at the possibility of airing those two ideas in two separate seasons of AHS in 2016.
Murphy has also invited Lady Gaga to be part of the sixth installment. He tweeted on October 7, "Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6. Say yes @ladygaga!"
According to Entertainment Weekly, "Unfortunately for star Evan Peters, however, Murphy probably won't be considering American Horror Story: Space any time soon. In a recent conversation with Vulture, the actor said that he "keep[s] pitching" the idea to Murphy to no avail: It's American Horror Story, said Murphy at EW Fest, not "Intergalactic Horror Story," though he did concede that, technically, the series could take place on an American space station or spaceship."
An additional tidbit is that Murphy also has two ideas for the next season of American Crime Story despite the fact that The People v. O.J. Simpson hasn't aired yet. Pre-production lead time is said to be needed for the idea of the next season which is allocated for the time to acquire intellectual property rights.
The series is broadcasted by the channel FX in the United States with the first season subtitled as Murder House premiered on October 5, 2011. The current season of American Horror Story is subtitled as Hotel and takes place in a haunted hotel in Los Angeles. The story circles around the staffs and guests of the hotel. The television series is one of the shows on FX with the highest ratings. Each consecutive season has become most watched season in FX broadcasting history.
Do you think having two separate seasons for 2016 is a brilliant idea? Are you excited to see Lady Gaga on TV?
