The Duchess of Cambridge may have been through numerous rumors but she still stands strong. New reports then emerged that Kate Middleton is currently keeping her eyes on the prize. As per Celeb Dirty Laundry, Kate Middleton is building a strong relationship with Queen Elizabeth to ensure her spot on the royal family.
As per reports, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are still going through a rocky relationship. Kate Middleton however has gone a long way ever since she married the prince and she's been doing her best to retain her royalty spot.
By having Queen Elizabeth as one of her allies in the British Royalty, in doing so she would be able to have a safe spot in the throne. The Queen will be passing on her crown in a few years, and Prince Charles would be made King. Even if he would be crowned as King, Middleton still has a secured spot with Elisabeth's blessing. The Duchess of Cambridge would no longer rely on Price William's support, as she already established herself as a powerful influence on the royal grounds.
This being said, just a few months ago, Kate Middleton is reported to have suffered postpartum depression. This is due to the fact that she's going through intense pressure in raising their children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
As per Realty Today, Dr Julie Armstrong dished out details on what the Duchess is going through.
"Kate's trying to juggle it all and is really feeling the pressure, Giving birth is a huge undertaking, and then there's the stress and strain of family and a baby whose needs are 24/7. So now she's competing - where does she put her needs? To which baby does she give her attention? All which is a drain on her own resources - her psychological resources."
Amidst her depression, Queen Elizabeth stood by her side and guided her into overcoming her depression. Last month, during World Mental Health day, Both Kate and William were spotted with huge smiles on their faces along with Queen Elizabeth. The Queen might have done something to patch things up between the two.
