Black Swan Producer Mike Medavoy Sells Bel Air Home for $7.8 Million

Mike Medavoy, the production mastermind behind the movie "Black Swan," has reportedly sold his Bel Air home for $7.8 million. He had listed the property sometime back in March for $7.9 million.

Medavoy purchased the home for $6 million in 2011. Though he took a small price dip on the asking price, he still made a considerable profit from the sale. According to the Real Estalker, the home had undergone a long two-year remodeling and now features the best of the modern fittings and fixtures.

Listing records of the home state that the residence is a 5437 square feet single family residence spread on a 0.88 square feet lot. Apparently, the home sold sometime in May.

While Medavoy sold a prime piece of real estate, he also snagged up a nice Beverly Hills property for $8.2 million. The new home is an 8829 square feet residence, perching atop a perfect hilltop location and is equally romantic as his former Bel Air home. The new residence comprises of seven bedrooms and eight full and one half bathroom.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new purchase marks Medavoy's return to "large living". Apparently, Medavoy and his wife have been living in cozy little home since 2009. They had a big residence in Beverly Park which they sold that year. The latest property splurge marks their return to the esteemed celeb studded area.
