"Outlander" Season 2 is just months away from unfolding the events that will take place, as Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall head over to France in an attempt to stop the Battle of Culloden from taking place. While Season 1 of the Starz time traveler series featured a lot of intense moments, actress Caitriona Balfe revealed her favorite part of playing her role.

"Outlander" stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are set to return to the small screens as Jamie Fraser and Caitriona Balfe, respectively, as Season 2 is expected to premiere in a couple of months. The upcoming season of the Starz series is based on Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber," which will see Jamie and Claire travel all the way to Paris to stop the Jacobite Rising.
"Outlander" Season 2 definitely held a lot of intense moments, especially the scene between Jamie and Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) in the episode titled, "Wentworth Prison." While there were several highs and lows during the first season, actress Caitriona Balfe recently revealed her most favorite part of playing the role of Claire, Daily Record reported.
"being out in the Scottish wild with the wind in my hair being badass !! #AskClaire," Balfe said in response to a fan's question.
The 36-year-old actress further revealed that fans will have to look forward to "Outlander" Season 2 episode 7, which she said was the most emotional episode she has filmed so far.
Meanwhile, Digital Spy shared a deleted scene from "Outlander" Season 1, which showed one of Jamie and Claire's intimate scenes. The deleted scene was taken from the recently released Blu-ray and DVD set, which also includes bonus and special clips.
"Outlander" Season 2 is expected to premiere in March or April 2016 on Starz.
