Celebrity Real Estate: Michael Jordan's New Plan to Sell His $15M Home

Even though Michael Jordan's mansion in Highland Park has been on the market since 2012, the basketball superstar is not quitting from trying to sell his home.

The new game plan is on the table - bold and risky. But for the basketball MVP, it's a go for the new strategy. Some series of Hollywood-style videos that show the magnificent aerial view of his lavishing 56,000-square-foot, nine-bedroom, 15-bathroom estate along with a peek inside its massive entertaining area, full gym, and (of course) basketball court.

Moreover, the focus of the videos is to sell based on the reputation of the mansion, being once owned by the basketball king of his generation. According to Realtor, the dramatic voiceover is practically issuing a challenge to other luxury properties: Bring it on.

"Think you're big? I'm bigger. You say you're great at entertaining? Have you seen my pool pavilion? Putting greens? Game rooms? You might have a basketball hoop, but I have a full-size regulation court designed and played on by the greatest of all time," says the video.

For the price of $14,855,000, which adds up to his jersey number 23, you would be able to live like Jordan. And, the gates also have 23 on them.

When this property first hit the market in 2012, it was priced at $29 million, but wasn't able to sell. This time, Jordan hired luxury real estate agent Kofi Nartey.

"Our website crashed for a few hours ... due to the number of hits," says Nartey, who hopes the publicity will find its way to the right buyers. "The buyers for a home like this aren't buying it to be in the neighborhood," he explains. "They're buying it because they want to own a piece of history."

Here is the video to Jordan's new selling strategy.

What do you think? Will Michael Jordan be able to sell his mansion as much as he was able to sell a lot of his sneakers?
