Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger may have divorced, but it doesn't mean that they can get away from each other permanently.
New reports claim that Avril and Chad are back together, not as husband and wife but as music collaborators, Billboard reports. Early in October, the "Hello Kitty" singer shared a photo of herself while working with her former husband in a studio.
"YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today," Avril captioned the first photo. She shared another picture showing the Nickelback frontman with a guitar and writing and captioned it with, "Back to where it all started."
Meanwhile, amidst rumors that Avril and Chad are getting back together, the Canadian French singer recently sparked dating controversies with rocker Ryan Cabrera. The two were spotted together on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in a Beverly Hills supermarket picking up some Halloween pumpkins, ET Canada reports. The recent outing fueled dating rumors between the two.
Avril and Chad announced their divorce in September and Cabrera is the first man romantically linked to the 31-year-old Grammy nominee. If ever the dating rumors were true, Us Weekly reports that it looks a bit awkward because Lavigne dated Brody Jenner, who hooked up with Audrina Patridge. Patridge dated Cabrera in the "Hills" show. Cabrera is said to be dating Entertainment reporter, Katie Krause.
In September, Avril and Chad announced their divorce in a statement after two years of marriage.
"It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support," Avril shared on her Instagram account.
