The possibility of "Legally Blonde 3" hitting the big screen is making the headlines as Reese Witherspoon dished out her thoughts in the possiblity of shooting the comedy's 3rd sequel.
As per US Weekly, during one of her interviews in Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, Reese Witherspoon shared her thoughts in regards to "Legally Blonde 3." Though she made it clear that she couldn't make decisions in regards to the film, she shared that she'd want to see Elle Woods as president,
"A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," Witherspoon said. "I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office."
She then added:
"I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately,"
Witherspoon's last appearance as Elle Woods was for "Legally Blonde 2" back in 2013. No specific confirmation was given in regards to the film's details were given up to this moment, but fans would be thrilled if "Legally Blonde 3" would push through.
Aside from "Legally Blonde 3" news, Reese Witherspoon is reportedly set to star in "Peter Pan," as she would be taking the role of Perter Pan's sidekick. As per Hollywood Reporter, Witherspoon will be taking on the role of Tinkerbell. Victoria Strouse, the writer of "Finding Dory" is currently working on the project.
She will not only star as Tink, but she will also produce the film along with her partner on Pacific Standard, Bruna Papandrea. The whole film is currently on the works as it doesn't have a director yet. Though the details on the project is still being kept as a secret, insiders dished out that it will be "playing with the idea and the timeline of the well-known Peter Pan narrative."
