They are spooky and they give you the chills. These creepy American homes listed by Kean Radio are now on the market, and some of them even carry a very heavy price tag.

If you are brave enough and if you have the cash to burn, then these haunted pieces of American history can be yours.

The Hinsdale "Dandy" House

The Hinsdale House, more popularly known as the Dandy House, traces its origins way back to 1850. Built near Olean, New York, the Dandy House has been the topic of numerous books on paranormal activities. Ghostly apparitions have been sighted in the house or near the property. Unexplained noises, vibrations, and cars of visitors being "possessed" are just some of the phenomena reported to have occured in and around the house.

The property has been recently purchased and the buyer plans to turn it into a museum.

The Hampton Lillibridge

Sounds of footsteps and moving furniture, among others, fill the silence echoing in this house. Now declared a Georgia National Landmark property, the beautiful and historic Hampton Lillibridge has been restored to its former glory. Still, reports of ghost sightings and strange noises would make anyone have second thoughts about buying this property, which is listed at $1.3 million.

Ma Barker House

The infamous Kate "Ma" Barker and her son Fred met their end in this house after a lengthy shootout with the FBI in 1935. In fact, Ma Barker's house in Central Florida is where the longest shootout in the history of the FBI took place. The house, once peppered with bullet holes, is now on sale. The asking price for the 9 1/2-acre estate is $889,000. However, with scary noises piercing the house through the night, would anyone dare take the risk?

The house, once used as a hideout for Ma Barker and her gang, will reportedly be converted to a museum, according to MY News 13.
