WhatsApp 2.13.11 Patch Update: Beta Rolls Out for Nokia Asha, Asha 201, C3; No Upgrade, Only Resolved Installation Issues

WhatsApp update 2.13.11 has been rolled out for Nokia Asha, but is not available in mobile stores. The beta version is exclusively available through the app's official website.

WhatsApp, the popular messaging app that allows message exchanges and calls by using a phone's Wi-Fi connection, has been created to be compatible with most mobile operating systems available. However, the Android version gets more upgrades than most other operating systems, in order to cater to the majority of users who are Android subscribers.

Fortunately, WhatsApp developers are currently working to include an adaptation of this app for other mobile device operating systems that are not usually popular like the Symbian 40. This operating system runs a number of Nokia devices like Nokia C3, Nokia Asha 201 and Nokia Asha, Neurogadget reported.

WhatsApp 2.13.11 update for the Symbian 40 devices does not actually have upgrades, which is reportedly caused by some bugs or app stability issues. According to some reports, a few installation issues were found on the former WhatsApp version for Symbian 40. The installation issue is now resolved with the arrival of WhatsApp 2.13.11 Jar, which has also recorded a slight upgrade of storage capacity that now totals to 1928KB.

The WhatsApp 2.13.11 Jar version is still in beta and is not available in the Opera Mobile Store or the Nokia store yet. Nevertheless, the app's installation record may be downloaded at whatsapp.com/s40, its official Android website, for now.

Downloading the jar file of WhatsApp 2.13.11 on Nokia Asha is made easy by opening the file and the installation process will begin, Bel Voir Eagle reported.

Since this version of WhatsApp is currently in BETA, it entails some high risks of encountering different issues and bugs. These issues, however, are going to be resolved by engineers even before this WhatsApp version gets through the stage of BETA, the developers said.
